General Summary: Technician will provide automotive services by performing inspections, repairs, maintenance, and installations efficiently, safely, and according to Ford's quality and time standards. Complies with Ford and dealership's safety and environmental programs and practices. Automotive services may include, but are not limited to maintenance items, drive-ability, suspensions, alignments, steering, heating and air conditioning, basic and ABS brakes and exhaust systems. Experience is required, 2 years experience in automotive repair or service is required; 4 or more years preferred. Tools required to perform repairs and services. Must have the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Driver's license is required for this position. 


Duties and Responsibilities:

•Completes service and repair assignments correctly, to pass quality inspections or test drives.

•Performs preventive maintenance, cleaning, and repairs on dealership tools and equipment; ensures facility is clean and organized at all times.

•Performs factory warranty repairs according to established procedures.

•Follows all hazardous waste and OSHA safety regulations and company policies.

•Stays up-to-date on the latest technical services through training, bulletins, campaigns, etc.


Education and Certification Requirements: Education, training and/or state/national certifications should clearly demonstrate the possession of the knowledge and skills stated above. High School degree or equivalent preferred. ASE certification preferred but not required.

Quick Lane Technician

Chuck Spaeth Ford, New Ulm is looking to hire a Full-Time Quick Lane Technician that specializes in maintenance and light repair work. The applicant would focus on quick, high volume jobs (oil changes, brakes, tires, alignments and front end suspension, filters, batteries, etc.) The applicant would have the ability to work as a team and independently and efficiently. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. On the job training is provided. Automotive experience is preferred. Must have a valid Driver's License. Competitive Wage.

Automotive Detailer- New Ulm

Job description

Hours for this position are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and rotating Saturdays 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (When working Saturday, you would receive a day off during the week)

Working 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include detailing new and used cars- interior and exterior. Car detailers are responsible for making an automobile look neat and clean both inside and out. Using a variety of cleaning equipment and products, these professionals have an eye for cleanliness and inspection.

Detailers would also be dropping off and picking up vehicles for customers in the service departments.
